Deborah’s message this Sunday is titled “Pentecost: The Gift of Dis-orientation” and the Scripture is Acts 2:1-8; 12-13. You are invited to wear red for Pentecost - color of flames! Sylvia Graves, General Secretary for Friends United Meeting (FUM,) will be in the Explorer’s Sunday School Class (Room 2) at 10:00 and will bring a Mission Moment and share the facing bench with Deborah at 11:00.
Sunday, May 4 is Pulpit and Pew Exchange Sunday. Deborah and several members will be attending the First Moravian Church. John Rainey, pastor of the Moravian Church will be our speaker.

9:00 a.m. Silent (Unprogrammed) Meeting for Worship. Unprogrammed Meeting for Worship offers an opportunity for 45 minutes of worship in the manner of early Friends.
10:00 a.m. Sunday School
Children's classes are offered, grouped by age from preschool through high school. In addition to spiritual development, the children's program is teaching the children to make positive choices in life. This is done through the use of stimulating materials, discussion and planned social activities.
Adult classes explore a range of scriptural, spiritual and contemporary issues.
11:00 a.m. Programmed Meeting for Worship. Programmed Meeting for Worship offers an opportunity for worship incorporating silence, sharing, singing, music from the choir, prayer, and a message from the pastor, a Meeting member, or guest speaker.
Monthly Meeting for Business and Worship
The first Wednesday of each month, at 7 PM, we gather as a community to discern how we will conduct the business of the Meeting.
