For the month of March, Peace & Social Concerns Committee is sponsoring a study of the new book by NCYM member Jack Ciancio, Where Christ Presides - A Quaker Perspective on Moral Discernment. The book is being studied in various NCYM monthly meetings and at Mid-Year Gathering.

First Friends is one of the lead congregations for the Quarters for Compassion - Stop Hunger Now Event. On Sunday, March 7, 3-5 pm 150 adults and children from various faith traditions will gather at Beth David Synagogue to assemble 20,000 nutritional meals that will be distributed in Haiti and possibly other needy areas.
